My undergraduate BS degree is from the University of Florida. I received this degree in the Spring of 2006 with a major in Zoology and a minor in Entomology.
I joined the Kelly Miller lab in the Fall of 2007 to begin my Biology Masters research on a systematic revision of the genus Elytroleptus in the longhorned beetle family (Cerambycidae). I am interested in possibly studying mimicry complexes. I also wish to examine genitalic structures, which are not routinely studied in this family.
Traci received an MS degree from the University of New Mexico in 2009 and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of California Berkeley (Kip Will lab).
