I am working on my B.S. in biology and minor in psychology. My research investigates the systematics of Oedipodinae (band-winged grasshoppers). Specifically, the rare Shotwellia isleta. I began my research in Dr. Miller's lab in October of 2007 through the NIH I.M.S.D (Initiatives to maximize student diversity) program. After my B.S., I plan on attending graduate school where I hope to combine my interests in entomology, neurobiology and cell biology.
